Mosaic Worlds will be running a new range of diverse and fascinating Mosaic courses from September 2016 here in London. Mosaic Worlds was created by Nathalie Vin in 2008 and was joined recently by Arianna Puntin, an Italian Mosaic artist. Together, they will explore a large spectrum of mosaic courses, covering considerable techniques and materials - all in a spirit of creative freedom. After some initial tutoring on the techniques you will be thrown directly into your own creation. The emphasis is on minimal theory and maximum hands-on creation.
The classes are flexible and come in the form of either
Evening mosaic classes over a period of 10 to 12 weeks
Intensive 4 days Master courses
Two day beginners introductions to Mosaic
One-to-one Master tutoring scheduled around a mutually suitable time during the week
During all our classes, the initial tutoring will start with an introduction on ‘How to create a mosaic design’ followed by the stages of sculpting a tile into any shape of your choosing so your mosaic-making can evolve freely. We will then advise and guide you on your individual journey providing useful tips, insights and troubleshooting assistance from our years of experience.
Prices include all materials (wood, adhesives, astonishing selection of mosaic tiles, mirrors and broken china) and tools.
The only thing you need to bring is your apron!
Refreshments and a delicious lunch are included in the price.
